Apple reports best-ever earnings even as iPhone revenue slips

Sales increased by nearly all groups within the company, specifically for their Mac, iPad, and services divisions.

“In the fourth quarter, we observed that in markets where we had implemented Apple's advanced analytics, the year-over-year sales performance of iPhone 16 models were better than those markets where we hadn't installed Apple's analytics,” he said.

These models were an especially good deal this year, which isn’t always the case. So that could also explain why revenue was slightly lower if fewer people are choosing the Pro versions.
